Winter landscapes on the tracks
Winter in Antey-Saint-André rhymes with the whiteness of snowflakes. It is a timeless beauty to admire the snowflakes falling from the sky on the Alps of the Aosta Valley. Snowboard enthusiasts can practice many sports.
Our exceptional location, very close to the Chamois ski area and close to the most famous slopes and ski lifts in the Aosta Valley, will guarantee you whole days of fun! If you're not sure what to do, you can try skiing, snowshoeing, rock climbing and ice skating to have fun among the snow-capped peaks.
Ski within 10 km
You can go skiing just a few steps from the campsite: just take the cable car 30 mt from us and reach Chamois, a pretty little Alpine village that is also called “The pearl of the Alps”. Explore Valtournenche, 8 km from the campsite and discover its ski area, in the heart of the Great Walls chain, with 23 slopes as well as its Fun Park at an altitude of 2,300 m: fun guaranteed! Torgnon awaits you 10 km away: it is one of the sunniest towns in the Aosta Valley: the Land of the Sun, with 12 slopes and Fun Park at an altitude of 1900 m.
Ski within 20 km
Enjoy one of the most famous ski resorts in the world and in the entire Alpine region: Breuil-Cervinia and Zermatt are only 15 km from the campsite. Have fun on the 120 slopes of this huge ski area! Some slopes are open all year round.
Cross country skiing
Practice cross-country skiing on hundreds of km of trails for skating and classic style. Cross wild landscapes and meet the wildlife of these places: a perfect mix of sport and adventure. We recommend the cross country ski tracks of Torgnon, at 1489 meters!
Snowshoes
There's nothing like snowshoeing on fresh snow, while enjoying the beauties of these wild places in the heart of the mountains and snow-capped peaks. Ice skating
If you like skating, we recommend Cervinia and Gressoney for the authentic experience of skating on natural ice! Enjoy those attractive places and perform pirouettes and tricks on the ice in a dream setting. Ask our staff for information and they will also recommend other places for you.
Ice climbing
In the Cogne Valley, the winter cold transforms waterfalls into magnificent ice structures, creating an ideal environment for ice climbing which offers more than 150 routes. Come and try this winter sport to challenge the mountains: you will discover wonderful glimpses of wild nature. A unique experience for extreme adventure lovers!
